Minerva Academy FC is a well-known footballing powerhouse of Chandigarh (Punjab) in the Northern region of India

Minerva Academy FC were crowned Champions of the Senior State Football Championship for Men- 2015, organized by the Chandigarh Football Association, in which 28 clubs from the city participated, after a grueling knock out cum league which continued for over two months.
Minerva Academy FC’s second team Minerva Sharks finished runners up making it a one-two in the top honors.

Minerva Academy Football Club is proud to announce that we are the only club from the region to qualify for the 2ndDivision of the I-league for the 2015-16 season. Minerva Academy FC has made history by becoming the first club from Chandigarh to ever do so. This season, Minerva Academy FC will be playing alongside 11 other clubs from all over the country including Mohammaden Sporting Club, DSK Shivajians FC, PIFA Sports, Kenkre Sports, Dempo SC, NEROCA FC, Fateh Hyderabad FC, Gangtok Himalayan SC, LoneStar Kashmir FC, Guwahati FC, who will participate in the 2nd Division League 2015-16, subject to fulfillment of the Club Licensing criteria.

    no imageABOUT THE FOUNDER: MAFC was founded by Mr. Ranjit Bajaj in 2005, who is the Owner and Executive Director of the Club. Ranjit has himself played in all the prestigious football tournaments of the country including representing Chandigarh in two junior nationals, Subroto cup, Santosh Trophy and the Durand Cup.
